Regardless of the weather, tasty fruit salads are always welcome! The next time you make one or use lemon with a tasty dish, you can save the peels and make your own homemade all-purpose cleaner. The ingredients travel a short CO2 path since you may already have them. So it has environmental benefits and it saves money! 😎
Necessities
- Spray bottle with spray cap
- Glass jar with lid
- 1 lemon
➪ preferably organic - Water
- natural vinegar
- sieve
You are free to choose your ingredients, do you prefer grapefruit or orange peels? Go ahead! fresh herbs such as mint are also very welcome! 🍊
Preparation
- Put the lemon peels in the glass jar
- Pour vinegar into the pot to cover the lemons
- Let sit for about a week
- at room temperature, away from sunlight
- Strain the mixture into the spray bottle to remove all lemon pulp and residue
- This way you avoid that the bottle could clog
- Mix 1/3 vinegar with 2/3 water
