What is a food forest

The food forest abc

What if your lawn could save the planet?

Houston we have a problem. Climate change is a fact but our biodiversity is perhaps an even bigger problem. But we hold the key to success. What if we also pair the useful with pleasant?

The edible forest that didn't want to be a forest

A food forest, food forest, edible forest, forest garden, ,.... you have them in all shapes and colors. Several layers of tasty edible trees and perennials large and small form the base. Wonderful for biodiversity.

    Food forest agriculture or agroforestry

Mix a little field or vegetable growing, woody crops and trees add a touch of vegetable growing then we are talking about forest agriculture or agroforestry. Ecological food production is the focus.
