Grandparents for the Climate is the winner of the Civil Society Prize 2021 of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) with its campaign “Our savings for their future”. The Grandparents are honored to be recognized by this important European institution. They were selected from the many entries from 24
countries of the European Union and placed first of the five finalists. They see this as a great encouragement for their operation and gives them extra energy to continue with their campaign that encourages peers, government and the financial sector to use the financial resources of 55+ people for sustainable destinations.
But ‘Grandparents for the climate’ is much more than that. They strive for a liveable world for their children and grandchildren. Be masters of the firing line and also actively lobby to get things moving.
