It’s time. On June 10, 2020, we were officially recognized by the General Assembly as a member of the Bond Beter Leefmilieu. More than 130 organizations are part of this network. Together we reach more than a million Flemish people, thousands of companies and the most important decision-makers in Flanders.
Bond Beter Leefmilieu unites nature and environmental organizations and strengthens the voice of sustainable leaders in Flanders. Together they initiate and stimulate the transition to a society with a fully renewable, circular economy. They make this concrete by working with citizens, social organisations, companies and governments on feasible and innovative solutions.
In this way they want to realize the day on which everyone in Flanders lives well without weighing on the environment, nature and our health.
Some topics that we have already been able to put on the map are our Digital Carbon Footprint as a silent polluter and attention to compacting the soil in new construction and renovation, so that biodiversity is nipped in the bud from the start.
