Nursery Arborealis stands for sustainably grown trees and shrubs.
Always looking for a sustainable way of growing and living, the concept of the Food Forest fits perfectly within the set-up of our nursery.

We focus on cultivating and offering a wide and usable food forest range and like to experiment with new or rediscovered species. Of course, our plants are also very suitable for an edible garden or as a basis for a permaculture garden.

Also in our range are the plants we sell for horses, ponies and donkeys.
These are edible trees, shrubs, hedges and herbs, a natural and varied addition to their daily ration.

The cultivation process takes place at the nursery itself. The entire process – from seed or cutting to salable plant – is guided by us with care and attention. We do not use any pesticides in our crops (not even biological pesticides). Our plants are grown in an organic potting soil mixture, the pots are made from recycled plastic.
Sometimes our stock of home grown plants is sold out. Then we buy plants from colleagues elsewhere. In that case we do not have a complete overview of the cultivation process of these plants. We do try to choose those suppliers who have a good reputation when it comes to careful and environmentally conscious cultivation.
We do not allow ourselves to be guided by quality marks, but from our broad cultivation experience we always look for the least burdensome cultivation method for people and nature, resulting in vital trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants and an ever-growing number of regular customers. We sell to private individuals, both online and in our plant shop at the nursery. We also supply food forest and permaculture projects.
With not even that much patience, you can harvest the most special or oh so ordinary but tasty fruits, shoots and nuts within a few years.
Be inspired and, like us, fall under the spell of the food forest.
