At our first webinar CO2NEUTRAL@WORK, we revealed for the first time what our own mission is.
bARK.today is a nonprofit founded by Trees De Bruyne. Our mission is to encourage everyone to reduce their carbon footprint. Our methodology is based on the principles of ‘Robert Hart’ the pioneer of the food forest. We use the creation of a “Tiny Food Forest” to unite people around a common goal. To bring about change and to learn, live and work more sustainably in order to transform this world into a more biodiverse society.
For companies, we pull the card of ‘Corporate Gardening’ and in our wake we use our ‘sustainable team building events’ to introduce other sustainable solutions. For education, we use “systemic thinking” by encouraging learning about sustainability through “Living Labs” in a playful way.
But we are also forging “Tiny food forest” plans for people with a “Tiny” garden. You’ll be hearing from us.
